Zani/ Mortimer go 3 from 3 at Targa

Todd Zani and Jon Mortimer have continued their run of success since pairing up to compete in the quit Targa West Rally. The Team have now won three out of three events in their class and were up against some extremely competitive teams in this year’s event.

The VF HSV Maloo and the Zani/Mortimer combo proved to be a formidable combination, particularly on the third day of the event where the Team started in 3rd place with about a 30 second margin to the leaders but managed to finish the day in 1st place with over a 1 minute lead to its nearest competitor.

The Team would like to thank its valued supporters, family members and sponsors for what has been a remarkable debut of the car at this event. Another great effort by the Team.

Zani/ Mortimer go Back to Back at Targa

Todd Zani and Jon Mortimer have finished 3rd outreight and 1st in class in the Challenge Category of the 2016 Quit Targa West rally. This is the second time that Zani and Mortimer have competed together and it is the second class win for the combination.

The VF HSV GTS and the Zani/Mortimer combination competed well against the 4wd variants in the event and late on Staurday where in fact close to being 1st outright and were hlding down 2nd place for most of the day which came as a shock considering the inclement weather which suited the 4wd variants on the Thursday and Friday of the event.

The longer stages of the Chittering and Toodyay stages suited the big V8 of the HSV and the Team took a number of stage wins throughout the day and were really pleased with the performance of the vehicle and the Team.

The Team would like to thank its valued supporters, family members and sponsors for what has been a remarkable debut of the car at this event. Another great effort by the Team and special thanks to Jason at CSC Performance and the team for the fabrication of the harness bar and safety upgrades to the vehicle prior to the event.

TZ at the Bathurst 1000

Todd Zani has come out of retirement to run a Holden V8 Ute at the Bathurst 1000 as part of the support category events being held on the first weekend in October.

Todd previously competed in the V8 Ute series in the 2014 and 2015 seasons with Williams Race Tech and is proudly competing again at what is likely to be the last time the V8 Utes will be seen at Mt Panorama.
